If the player also has [JK-47JK-47] , when holding the [JK-47JK-47] , the player regains ammo when walking over liquids, and increases fear range while reloading.

Effects

  • Removes all liquids/webbing near the player.
  • Allows the player to understand Professor Goopton (not an actual game-changing mechanic). The player does not need to be actively holding the sponge in order to understand Professor Goopton - they just need to have picked it up once in the run. Dropping the Sponge keeps the effect.

Notes

  • Sponge cannot be sold.
  • This item nullifies the effect of [Bug BootsBug Boots] .
  • This item nullifies the ammo recovering ability of guns that require you to stand on liquid, such as the [PlungerPlunger] and the [GungineGungine] .
