Shadow Bullets
Fires additional projectiles. These umbral bullets hide in the shadows of other bullets, waiting for the right time to strike.

Shadow Bullets is a passive item and a bullet upgrade .
Synergies
If the player has [
Shock Rounds] , the range that [
Shock Rounds] can connect bullets is increased, and lightning can connect to enemy bullets.
Shock Rounds] If the player has [
Backup Gun] , [
Backup Gun] has a 100% chance of firing shadow bullets.
Backup Gun] If the player has [
Decoy] , using [
Decoy] spawns a shadow clone of the player that mirrors their movements and fires towards the crosshair whenever the player fires.
Decoy] If the player has [
Zorgun] , its shadow bullets will become random explosives.
This also applies to all companions and items that generate bullets while [
Zorgun] is equipped.
Zorgun] If the player has [
Luxin Cannon] , it turns gray and its lasers deal 25% more damage.
Luxin Cannon] Effects
- Firing a weapon has a 15% chance to fire an additional projectile.
- Gives beam style Guns a 15% chance every second while firing to gain double damage for one second, creating random seconds of double damage.
Notes
- The beam damage multiplier sometimes granted by Shadow Bullets does not stack with the beam damage multipliers of [
Shock Rounds] , [
Flak Bullets] , [
Explosive Rounds] , [
Katana Bullets] , [
Vorpal Bullets] , [
Blank Bullets] , [
Devolver Rounds] or [
Hungry Bullets] .
While the damage multiplier itself does not stack, the chance for the multiplier to be applied per-second does.
- Shadow Bullets will maintain their original trajectory even if the player has another bullet modifier that could change it, such as [
Helix Bullets] or [
Remote Bullets] . However, bullets created by Gruber's Bane can be guided with [
Remote Bullets] .
- If the player kills an Apprentice Gunjurer with this at the same time it shoots the shot of the enemy will double.
