Super Meat Gun

Super Meat Gun is a gun that fires piercing, bouncing saw blades. It also increases movement speed by 1.5 while held and grants an empty heart container.

• This gun is a reference to the sawblade trap from Super Meat Boy , and a joke about how there are so many of them.

• Its title "Very fast" and the first sentence of its description are also a reference to Super Meat Boy, where on the character select screen Meat Boy's description is "Very fast. Made of meat!"

• Dropping the Super Meat Gun and picking it back up causes the granted heart container to disappear and reappear empty.

• This is the only heart container-granting item in the game that doesn't grant a filled heart container on first pickup.

• Dodge rolling temporarily grants a significant fire rate increase, much like the [Derringer] .

• I Studied The Blade is a line from an infamously cringey post saying that while you were doing X, Y, and Z, the poster had been "studying the blade," in reference to a katana.
