Клейкая лента — активный предмет.

• Usage:
• - The item must be used on two different guns, which tapes the first gun to the second gun. This consumes the first gun and makes the second gun, the base gun, fire projectiles from both.
• - The maximum ammo of the two guns is combined.
• - The base gun's synergies and effects apply to the consumed gun, while the consumed gun loses its own synergies and effects.
• - Duct Tape does not work with infinite ammo guns such as starter guns, Гюнтер, Богохульство, Дуэльный лазер, Устранитель, and Кейси.
• - With multiple Duct Tapes, multiple guns can be taped together, causing the resulting gun to fire the projectiles of all combined guns.
• - The same gun cannot be added twice.

• Ammo and Magazines:
• - The maximum ammo of the two guns is combined, and firing it uses the amount of ammo taken to fire both guns; typically 2 ammo per shot is consumed.
• - In addition to the taped gun's ammo consumption, Коронная пушка still consumes 3 ammo per shot.
• - In addition to the taped gun's ammo consumption, Пресвятая Калибра still consumes 6 ammo per shot.
• - The ammo given by Микроплатежное ружье when duct-taped to another weapon is 400, regardless of the amount of Гильзы the player has.
• - Using Клейкая лента to attach a gun that reloads to a no-reload gun, such as the Вулканическая пушка, will make the secondary gun useless once you've emptied the initial magazine.
• - Weapons with single-round magazines do not automatically reload after every shot if they are taped to another gun.
• - Weapons with no reload such as Голова демона can remove reload time when used as the base weapon in a combination; however, the player will need to manually reload every time the other gun's magazine is depleted. If the player can reload fast enough manually, beam-type weapons give the first gun an infinite clip.
• - Duct taping synergized infinite ammo guns, like the АКлюч-47 with the Akey Breaky synergy or Щит Предателя with the Betrayer's Ложь synergy, will give the resulting gun infinite ammo.
• - This only works if the synergizing gun is taped to the other gun while not holding the synergizing item, then the synergizing item is picked up afterward.

• Weapon Types:
• - Charged guns will still need to be charged when combined with a non-charged gun.
• - If used with a gun that alternates between ammo types, such as М-16, Тройной арбалет, or Боксерская перчатка, only the currently equipped ammo will be used in the newly formed gun.
• - Weapons that follow the player's cursor, such as the Ракета с ДУ, will be fired directly forward for a short period before they can be guided by the cursor.

• Synergies and Unique Effects:
• - The base gun's synergies and unique effects apply to the consumed gun.
• - If another gun is taped to the Стрижающая пушка, every bullet shot has a chance to fire a critical shot.
• - The consumed gun loses its synergies and unique effects.
• - If Патриот is taped to another gun, its fire rate will no longer increase as it is fired.
• - If Чрезвычайно особая лютня is taped to another gun, its buff will no longer function.
• - If Глюк is taped to another gun, it no longer deploys its amp turret upon reload.
• - If КБ-15 is taped to another gun it loses the ability to change forms. If taped while powered up, the gun will maintain its powered form even when the player loses armor, effectively giving the Наномашины synergy for free. If taped while unpowered, the gun cannot become powered at all.
• - If Микроплатежное ружье is taped to another gun, it will no longer take away Гильзы per shot.
• - Using Клейкая лента on either gun in a dual wield synergy, such as Револьвер Весельчака and Револьвер Шейдса, will remove all the effects of that synergy.

• Recommendations:
• - Use Duct Tape with similar weapon types to increase damage output, such as two charged weapons, two weapons with similar magazine size, or two beam weapons.
• - Use high-damage, low-ammo weapons for an ammo increase, such as Кустарная пушка with Кактус.
• - Use long-reload weapons to decrease their downtime.
• - Use utility pairings, such as an oil-type gun with a fire-type gun.
• - Чернодырная пушка works well with any beam weapon.
• - Композитное ружье works well with any other weapon.
• - To shred bosses, combine any beam weapon with Метатель яри.

• До версии v1.0.10 предмет можно было использовать только один раз и он скреплял текущее оружие со следующим. Максимальный запас боеприпасов первого оружия становился максимальным запасом боеприпасов объединённого оружия, а магазин поглощённого оружия не отображался.

• Размер магазина и скорострельность любого из оружий не изменяются.

• Если Зальная пушка скреплён с другим оружием, он сохраняет ту форму, в которой был на момент поглощения, фактически обходя специфические для этажей формы (например, сверхмощный метатель кольев в Аббатстве).

• Скрепление оружия с Гиперсветовой бластер вернёт боеприпасы только в том случае, если выстрелы Гиперсветовой бластер попадают по цели.

• Кажется, что Клейкая лента сохраняет синергии, меняющие внешний вид второго оружия, но не те, что не меняют.

• Munchers считают скреплённые оружия одним оружием, а не двумя, и не предоставят новое оружие в обмен, пока не будет подано дополнительное оружие — в общей сложности три оружия, а также будет израсходована Клейкая лента.

• Клейкая лента может быть отсылкой к фильму «Чужие», в котором Рипли в конце фильма скрепляет автомат и огнемёт, готовясь к спасению. Это дополнительно подтверждается тем, что иконка чёрная (такого же цвета, как в фильме), а не серебристая, как обычно у Клейкой ленты. Предмет также может быть отсылкой к Doom 3, который стал мемом при релизе из-за невозможности одновременно использовать фонарик и оружие, из-за чего многие игроки критиковали Марс за отсутствие у него Клейкой ленты.

• Описание в Аммономиконе упоминает два оружия: Пучок жезлов и Magitek Hybrid. О последнем ничего не известно. Странно, что Посох огненной силы не упоминается, несмотря на то, что в его дизайне и описании в Аммономиконе присутствует Клейкая лента.
