• Just In Case - If the player has [ボム] , the gun becomes a capital letter R and transforms into a one shot rocket launcher. It fires the word ROCKET with cloud sprites when shot, and creates a cartoony BOOM cloud when it hits something.
• Rabid - If the player has [アングリー弾] , the words LOSER, DORK, CHUMP, NOODLE, and TAFFER are spelled out.
• Radiant - If the player has [銀の弾丸] , the words SILVER, BLESSED, and WEREWOLF are spelled out. When it shoots "WEREWOLF", the firing sound is "DIE WEREWOLF DIE".

• Lower Case r's bullets leave behind the word BLAM!! whenever they hit something.
• This could be a reference to old ASCII Adventure games, where letters would commonly be used to represent items, pickups, and weapons based on their visual similarities.
• The pickup quote "Alphabetical!" could be a reference to Finn from Adventure Time exclaiming "Mathematical!"
• The word "TAFFER" which can be fired with [アングリー弾] is a reference to the same word used as an insult by guards in Thief: The Dark Project .
• The synergy Radiant may be a visual pun referencing Radiant Silvergun .
• With the [ゾンビキングの目] , only the Just In Case synergy will be active
• The synergy Just In Case transforms this item into the Upper Case R , originally intended to be its own gun, which has its own unused Ammonomicon entry. This is what it says: The uppercase version of the letter r. Although the uppercase version of the r character does not resemble a gun, the space between the two lower markings does create a kind of chute shape, and chute sounds a lot like shoot. The rest is obvious.
• Excepting Hacker and Just In Case , the names of all of Lower Case r's synergies begin with the letter R.
• The words “Booyakasha” and “Cowabunga” in the “Replete” synergy are Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles references.
