After defeating The Pilot 's past with his alternate skin, a golden skin of this gun is unlocked.
While reloading, the gun emits three jets of fog in the shape of a radiation symbol.
When firing, the gray components of the gun briefly glow green, matching the color of its lasers. The glow will still be green even if a bullet modifier changes the color of the player's bullets.
Unlike other starting guns, the Rogue Special does not eject brass when firing, so it cannot be used to find the path to the [超次元の鉛] .

While it is impossible to see in-game due to the gun having the infinite ammo variable set to true, the Rogue Special has a maximum ammo of 350.
The alternate skin will periodically have a bright sheen across the sprite, identical to the visual sheen of [プラチナ弾] .
The object and sprite name could refer to the Pilot, as he might be a "Knave".
