Notes

  • Special Reserve - If the player has [Plomb chaud] , [Bombardement au napalm] , or [Vision double] , Molotovs create green fire pools. Green fire does not damage the player, and enemies that touch green fire are permanently set aflame. The green flame from the synergy Special Reserve will not activate [Sprène] , even if being lit on fire is the activation trigger.
  • Green Fire can be placed on surfaces where regular fire can't, such as the water during the Gorgun's boss fight
  • Unlike the regular [Molotov] , the [Molotov] Launcher will work in The Gorgun 's arena.
  • Child projectiles created by [Balles à sous-Balles] will not create puddles of fire.
  • Extra shots fired by [Holster ] will usually not create puddles of fire, however it rarely still does.
  • Takes three shots to reveal breakable wall, but the pool of flames just visible in the darkness even if the wall is not broken.

Anecdotes

  • Unused: Open Bar - If the player has [Molotov] , using the [Molotov] restores 5 ammo to the player's currently held gun. Removed because it contains a starting item.
  • Having a long charge time and dealing almost exclusively flame damage, the [Molotov] Launcher is by far the lowest DPS gun in the game, dealing barely over half the damage of the [Manette Éditueur Tiers] or [Morto-piqueur] without poison damage when used against fire resistant enemies / bosses such as Bullet King .
