Pistolet vorpale
Provoque parfois des dégâts massifs. Cette arme de poing a été forgée il y a des siècles par un armurier oublié. Bien qu'il ait perdu de son pouvoir, il retrouve parfois sa puissance passée.

Notes
- Critcaliber - If the player also has [Idole-Balle] , after taking damage with the gun held, the next Vorpal Gun shot is guaranteed to be a critical shot.
- The chance to fire a critical shot increases with coolness . The percentage for crit chance is equal to coolness + 1.
- Firing the Vorpal Gun while in stealth mode from items such as [Fumigène] and alike will result in a guaranteed crit with 400% damage.
- Critical hits do not travel like normal bullets, but instead instantly strike the closest enemy in the cursor's direction regardless of intervening obstacles. Because of this, critical hits will only interact with enemies. Critical hits cannot reveal hidden rooms, break chests, reveal mimics, explode barrels, etc.
- Critical hits are an inherent property of Vorpal Gun, so if a gun is taped to it, the gun added will be able to crit. However, if Vorpal Gun gets taped to a different gun, it will no longer be able to crit.
- Normally, the game will slow down for a moment upon a critical hit landing. However, if the player has [Petits plombs] , this slowdown will not occur. Crits are rolled per shot, so if the next shot will be a crit, all 3 shots will crit.
Anecdotes
- The word 'Vorpal' is a nonsense word coined by Lewis Carrol in his nonsense poem ' Jabberwocky '. It describes a blade which is supposedly very sharp.
- This gun is also a reference to an artifact type called " Vorpal " from Dungeons & Dragons , that upon a roll of natural 20 severs the head of those it strikes, in most cases instantly killing them.
- The Vorpal Gun also resembles the Gunblade recurring weapon type from the Final Fantasy series, first introduced in Final Fantasy VII.
